Title: Albuquerque Coyote hunting?
Post by: cdriver on November 11, 2019, 07:30:23 PM
I am moving to New Mexico this winter. Looking forward to a bunch of coyote hunting. Who has hunted that area? Will be living just north of Albuquerque.  Any information would be welcome. I am already looking at Google Earth and have my maps.

I jst saw this and there are coyotes all over down here.  Some special rules, you can only hunt state land if you have a current license for an open GAME animal, coyotes are a non-game animal but can be hunted if you have a current game animal license.  Lots of BLM lands, a gps chip is a great aid.  Public lands maps are found at the local BLM office for $4./ea

There are lots of hunting opportunities here.

Desert hunting, no wellies or gortex, it does get cool though mid 20's in the morning here and gets progressively colder as you get higher and farther north.  This is last week.
