Standard Rain-X is not designed to be used on coated lenses.

I was referring to this BUT have never used it.

I use a soft cloth and have never applied a fog treatment except to my diving mask.

The tech at Leupold says there is no product that they recommend applying to coated lenses.

Cat Crap! I hear what the guys are saying above about coated lenses and such but that stuff works amazing for glass, goggles, lenses you name it. Would take a lot of work to apply to your windshield....

Thanks for the replies. Never thought about coated lenses. I learned the hard way that tinted prescription sunglasses and pool chemicals is a no no.
Main use is for SxS glass windshield, i'll keep it off the optics.
Trying this.
