Last weekend on the westside I saw 24 cows and 6 bulls and 5 where packing last year's growth, the other was a good sized 12 inch spike in velvet. I might go out looking tomorrow, they got to be dropping soon.

quality,not quantity :chuckle: It is no secret there are big elk on the east side but I just can't hunt spike and cows so you have no competition from me. Finding spikes east of the mountains is like hunting for Sasquatch. There is nothing like hunting a bugling bull in my opinion.
