Title: 2019/20 Chukar and Hun season

Post by: nwalpineguide on December 03, 2019, 09:08:13 AM: This past weekend treated us well on Chuckar. Five birds taken between two hunters, no dogs. Plenty of birds but they are taking flight at some distance now. Gotta sneak up on them.

Over all the populations are thriving and birds seem to be doing well. I have seen fewer huns this year in the elevations, but the coveys we are getting into are dense and the birds are eating well.

From what he's been telling me, numbers are a bit down.

That is awesome! Ya every one of my spots are absolute junk this year!

Let your dog build up a little toughness on the pass then start using these. I use vet wrap on the paw first.
