I’m looking to branch out and start hunting other places besides Washington and don’t know where to start. Anybody used gohunt and is the $150 annual membership worth it? Thanks
-
I have been curious about this too, so I'm along for the ride.

@fillthefreezer, any insight you can give?
I was going to try the "free 30 day" thing earlier this year, but got busy and missed the deadline....

I have used it and really like it. Only thing is their numbers are based on this year’s projections and don’t take into consideration point creep. 100% draw odds aren’t always 100%. Don’t ask me how I know... :yike:

It’s great for basic info and draw odds/ trends and such. Basic info for OTC tags also which is a nice bonus. Obviously keep in mind that THOUSANDS of dudes are looking at the same stuff so there really are no secrets being givin out. Worth the $150 for me, I say go for it

It depends on how many states you apply in and how important quality data is. As noted above, it is backward looking and doesn't give you odds for this year, but it does illuminate many things and I found it is valuable for the three states I apply in. I'll most likely renew during the next sale.

I find it to be worth the subscription.

Thanks for the feedback. I haven’t applied in any states yet, which I know I’m dumb for not, but better late than never, mostly looking for info on places that I could potentially diy Hunt someday. Looking to get my feet wet and don’t know where to start.

Randy Newberg has a good series on YouTube about the mechanisms for the big elk states. There are also states that don't have point systems where you can jump in just like the rest and not be behind.
-
love them and their stats, easy to use and very accurate. They were a big help at the utah sportsman and conservation show to help me decide where to use my out of state points.

I've been a member for 3 years, best move I ever made. I started with idaho now I've hunted a few different states for mule deer and antelope.
