So, I couldn't find my other 4x4 thread, but I ended up picking up the truck. It looks like Yukon makes an electronic locker for the Super 88 diff I have, but installing it is outside my wheelhouse. Any recommendations on a quality shop that does quality work for a fair price?
Thanks in advance.

Randys ring and pinion in Everett (some people like them some don't) been around awhile though.
Olympic 4x4 in Snohomish?

:yeah:

I have only bought parts from Randy's but have always had good luck.

Randy’s makes the Yukon so might be a good choice. I used NW Differentials to narrow a D80 housing and they did a good job on that. They are now in Monroe.

Anyone ever use Randy's Offroad in Arlington?
Apparently Yukon makes the OEM locker for Ford and they are the only option in the market.

Olympic 4x4 mentioned above closed up shop this year, sad deal sold every last bit of his inventory. Randy’s ring and pinion in Everett is a good shop.

Thanks, I'll give them a ring in the morning. I know they sell the part, I didn't know they did work as well. It's kind of confusing how the whole Randy's/Yukon website is set up.

Sorry to hear Olympic in Snohomish closed. Bought 42" Super Swampers there in 1982 when they were only outlet in PNW. That was biggest PU tire available at that time.

About 15 years ago i bought my dodge cummins from a guy that had randys ring and pinion rebuild the rear end a month before i bought it. I had a weird shudder when it shifted. i took it to randys off road and had him ride with me so he could feel it.He was like, whoa thats not good what ever that was. I told him to remove the rear cover and look at that then move to the transmission. Ended up being the bolts came loose in the rear end and back at so far 3 guys on two big prybars couldn't get the dang gears out the bolts were so bent over and wedge in there. Called randys ring and pinion and they said i was towing to heavy thats why they came loose.Ended up having to have Randys offroad buy a new axle housing and put a detriot locker in it. Never will go to randys ring and pinion for anything. No way those bolts should have all come loose and backed out.
Ask about the warranty before you have them do work.
