Colorado is demographically similar to Washington, 3-4 counties of largest population control all the elections and the rest have to deal with the ramifications.  Let hope for the Elks sake they look at the other Western states and vote no.  Unfortunately I see the demise of another elk herd.

The general public should never be allowed to vote on wildlife management, ever.  They are for the most part idiots, just like in this state with bear baiting,  and hound hunting for cats and bears.  Why don't the people just look at the numbers, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and now WA, the wolf is a cancer.  I don't hunt colorado but I'm sure they will pass this and someday be sorry.
