How can a guy even have any desire to pull the trigger on a nice mature, but normal buck after killing that? Serious question, did getting that thing kind of screw up deer hunting for you in the following years?
Also, did you happen to send a tooth in on that thing by chance?

I'm under no delusion that I have much of a chance of killing a bigger one. That being said, I'm happy to continue the search! There's always a chance.
I sent in a tooth and he was 4.5 yrs.

Sorry, but Im not buying 4.5............

The year before that, one of my other daughters shot this buck in Washington. 170 inch mainframe buck with 15 scoreable inches in the eye guards and below for a total of 185 and some change! When will I ever have a chance at that 180 plus inch buck???

Two incredible bucks from both your daughters man, that's awesome!

Well if it was a blacktail in would be in the top10, so no it’s a muley, grossed 179 7/8, we call it the 180, I’m sure there was 1/8 inch missed somewhere.🤣

Oregon whitetail from 2013...
