Title: Scouting the Iron Mountains
Post by: darin_j on January 27, 2020, 10:45:34 PM: Has anyone had success in the Iron Mountain area? Just wondering if it’s something worth taking some time to look at, have some buddy’s coming in from out of state, one hunting turkey for the first time ever, so want to show them a good time!

North on 395 past Chewelah, Iron Mtn Immel rd on East side of road the Blue Creek on West side.

You are going to have to work for it but you can bag birds. Killed my spring gobbler last year in that area. I'll be hunting them again this year. Be ready to run and gun if needed, can be tough calling sometimes.
