Title: Dead Beaver
Post by: Trapper John on February 07, 2020, 05:40:07 PM

I had to go into Everett yesterday and seen a dead Beaver on HWY 2 over by the town of Snohomish.
No water or a very small steam where I think it came from.   I'm thinking forced out of the big river.

Then Lydia and I stopped in the town of Snohomish and walked out onto the bridge in town to see how high the water was.
A lot of trees, logs and debris coming down.  While I'm standing there looking (I'm not kidding) a muskrat was sitting on a log heading down stream.

Think about how many wild and domestic animals lose their lives in these floods.  We never hear about that on the news do we.
You and I know that a lot of water animals die in this kind of weather.

Never even thought about those little critters. This amount of rain/flooding sucks for us and the critters

I hammer the beaver in feeder creeks when the main channels are up
