Title: Private upland bird access
Post by: Saltdiver on February 09, 2020, 09:19:10 AM
Looking for quality land to hunt pheasants, chukar and quail...hopefully west of Moses lake...ish. Chukar in Yak Canyon and Pheasant on Broughton Land out in Dayton this year got my Shorthair hooked! Me too...I fish in Ak all winter, happily bring over a box of fish and a handshake if there’s any landowners that don’t mind us in their fields for a few days in the winter. Really, just wondering if anyone’s got some tips on landowners I might talk to and work out an arrangement to get my dog and I on some birds next season. Thanks everyone!

Private land for chukar is not needed. The stuff they live in is mostly public land. Get onx maps and see all what is availible first.
