Look at the melon on that bad boy :o
A 700-pound bear shot in New Jersey last year has set a new world record as the largest black bear ever killed with a bow and arrow in North America!

Typical anti hunting hysterics in the comments of course.

I am a Pennsylvania native and have seen many big bear. The rifle record in PA is 840#. The bear in the NJ and PA areas hang out in the Laurel swamps allowing them to die of old age. I tracked a wounded deer through one and quit hunting the area because of it. The actual bear record in PA is close to 900# and were either poached or road killed. NJ used to bitch about the PA bear crossing the Delaware into their state.
