Am I going to get my a$$ kicked if I say that I got drawn for Deer Combo first year trying, with no points? :yike:yes, by someone, not me.
i was going to put in for that this year so i would not get drawn and have apoint for nextyear but decided against it because with my luck i would get drawn and not be able to go.

Uh, that's kind of what I was doing... I never really expected to get drawn. Especially for Deer A with no points. Oh well guys, I guess there's one less name that you'll have to compete with for the WA draws... points only for me this year....
I don't get enough time off to go crazy, and I already committed to antelope hunting with my sister and brother in law in MT this season, so my plans just changed a lot. Montana, here I come!!! :IBCOOL:

I had 5 points for deer up until last year then said screw this I want to go elk hunting too then drew the combo when I found out the points were good for any of them.

Got drawn for the combo. Answer me this, how can I get drawn for Montana on a group hunt when I've been trying to get drawn in Washington for 11 years on all the good tags and I don't get crap?
Because in Montana you HAVE to draw in order to hunt, and what you drew is still a general season hunt although the number of non-residents is limited. It is much easier to draw than the "good tags" in Washington. You wanna get drawn for something in this state? Apply for doe and cow tags. :chuckle:
