Title: Koro Rat Trap
Post by: Cougartail on February 27, 2020, 05:18:16 PM
Has anyone tried to trap muskrats with one? Thinking of putting them on a float.

I tried, but the muskrats didn't monkey with them. however, their were colonys in the area that caught rats, so i think they didn't have a chance to get caught. bait didn't get touched at it.

I think if you prebaited the area by scattering carrots, apples or sweet potato and you get them to where they’re eating them I think it would be a piece of cake, in my area the rats have zero interest in the baits
But if you can locate the dens and put the koro in sideways in the entrance it should work fine

Thanks for the replies. I've always had good luck with baits so maybe I'll give them a try.
