Anyone else get them on their cameras ?
-
Send this to the state with the location of the cam. Need to help document more packs in the area.
I've got a camera on the north shore that's in the high country I haven't been able to get to since October 2018 that I'll bet has some on it.

Let me know where it's at I will check it for you when I check mine this spring. Possibly S. Navarre area?

Had one on a game camera 2 years ago off of S. Shore. It was a grainy night photo but it was darker. Grey to black.
-
was only a matter of time right? Hate to see it but cool photo.

:yeah:

I have clients that have orchards on the south shore and they have been seeing/hearing wolves for years
-
I was in the domke falls area last weekend and followed a group of mulies. One of the deer seemed a little off: not dazed or unhealthy looking, but it was totally unafraid of me. At first I thought maybe it was sick. Its possible it had been hand fed by campers at some point but it was a ways away from a campground. I think I concluded it was just part of the full specter of any species and was probably the deer equivalent of the village idiot. I’m sure it will be among the first to get eaten by wolves!

Nice looking coyotes. ;)

How high was the snow in the Domke Falls area
-
Lake chelan is well outside the orange areas bordering it north and south, is it not?

Same on the north shore.😉

The WDFW blobs are meaningless. They know better, why bother?

Are these certainly wolves? My buddy's dog looks just like the one facing the camera
-
5-6 years ago a photographer took a good photo of one up Mud Creek, collared, supposedly a lone female on a walkabout. I found other sign I was confident was wolf in the area over the years. They are there, no doubt.
-
In 2006 there was a lone wolf up mud creek! I was 100 yards away from it during late archery deer permit. :bash:

Yeah, but what im suggesting is, if these 2 are far outside their stupid orange blobs, the pic can be used to pressure them into confirming another pack.
In theory anyway

Exactly. Can't deny photo evidence if it's well outside their documented ranges of other packs. So either these are two members of a new pack, or they aren't wolves. I wonder if a public disclosure request for GPS data for NCW wolf collars would be approved and cross reference that with the general vicinity of the south shore of the lake...

Here is a snap shot of the mud creek Tagged wolf

Getting up there. Stayed at the falls and then hiked a little up prince creek drainage the next day. Today in the Methow on the other side of sawtooth at 2500 feet north facing slopes with trees were patchy snow, and south facing slopes were dry.
