Whose has been lucky enough to stumble on one here in Washington?
-
I luck into one or two a year. Theres a lot less on the ground now then there was 10 years ago
-
I've found 2.
-
My son found the first one 5 feet off the side of the road. Girlfriend found the other side 10 yards up the hill from it. Little chewed on, but it made their day.
-
1 match set and 1 single.
-
I had a couple bulls hanging around the house this winter but have not been lucky enough to find a paddle yet. Nice finds
-
Here’s a matched set I found and mounted on a replica skull. Also have a large single.
-
Nice!

good grief! Have a frontal shot? That’s a pretty solid set
-
What does that measure!
-
Here’s a front view. Not sure on what this bull would score. Outside measurement is around 45 or 46 as I recall.
-
Wow, what a giant. Wa bull? How long ago did you find this?
-
Stevens County bull....found them 5 or 6 years ago. I did a thread last year in the taxidermy forum to share how I repaired the rodent damage and did the mount. Not sure if I'm more likely to catch the corona virus or draw a OIL Moose Tag...the odds right now are about the same....so I'm counting these sheds as my trophy.

Heres some. Crappy pics but i dont feel like taking them down.

I am so incredibly jealous...congrats on an awesome find!
-
Awesome! Way to get them before the rodents do
-
I have found 2 browns, 4 chewed whites and a few hours old busted paddle from a fight
-
pics?
-
24.9 lbs together on the scale
Playing with the calculator...I realize sheds mean nothing to B&C
I'm by no means an authority on judging moose sheds, and might not have done it right...
I put them 8 inches apart thinking the pedicles might be about that, put at the angle that looked right, and ran a tape.
These these are the numbers I plugged in.

Where did you get the skull? Having hard time finding sharias or wyoming moose skull replica, and was it hard to mount? I see they're pegged

Here's the link to the thread I put up last year.

In short, it was harder to do than I thought it would be but very doable. PM if you want to get into details. We can tag up by phone.

Wow! That’s a nice one. Too bad you couldn’t find the other one. Everybody always told me the moose and big elk will lose them real close because it makes him lopsided and they will try to loose it. I believed it until I had a monster Seven point bull elk on my trail camera for two days packing only one antler. Then he lost it And somehow I didn’t find either one. Thinking the neighbor may have got them
