Never heard of any pigeon guys here in NCW, but I know of several barns with free pigeons to bang away at if you're really desperate.......

Coulee City has alot around by the Grain towers + those invasive Collared Doves. My yard is FULL of these, just get a Rabbit cage with BoBs, pigeon feed from a local feed store and wahla, you have Dove to train with. You better have housing and know-how to raised these birds as they're noy toys and smarter than a DOG!!
They should do as good as any Barn Pigeon... I've raised Pigeons here since 2000 on the "Wet Side", these are a more expensive breed (Catalonian Tumblers soo no shooters here, just pointing/flushing only...
Do your homework and you could have a nice flock to raise, they are a wonderful hobby as well as any dog!
