Found this knife while shed hunting. Only antler I found that day
-
That’s a pretty sweet find

Was pretty excited when I first saw pic.
Looked like one I had lost up in Manastash that my father had made.
Not it unfortunately...
Keep looking!

I have no experience with this kind of stuff, how hard would it be to put a shine back on that blade? Pitting?
Cool looking knife.
-
Does it say "Hopalong Cassidy" on it? Still looking for mine.
-
That's a nice find, looks to be hand made, I found a wallet years ago while deer hunting the few bills inside crumbled into dust and all the credit cards were expired.
-
Salvageable I think, the brass is easy, some flax oil on the antler and buff the heck out of the blade. Serviceable with a story!!! Neat find
-
I vote leave it as is, hang it in the man cave.
-
That’s pretty neat.
-
I’ll definitely leave it as is... maybe it would be a cool addition to a pedestal mount?
-
Really cool find.dont think you could go wrong either way . refinishing it or leave it as it is .
-
That looks like a Sgian Dhu, a Scottish knife that goes in a leather sheath, in your sock. Some of those are Really collectible.
