Title: Triple Seven Pellet?
Post by: Tenkara on May 24, 2020, 11:10:42 AM: Ive always used loose powder, but i picked up 2nd muzzle loader and was going to try 209 and pellets.The new one is .52 cal but im only finding .50 cal pellets, will these work?

Post by: Tenkara on May 27, 2020, 10:24:06 AM: Well after talking to someone from hogdon to see if they made .52 pellets , which they dont, he said it was perfectly safe to use .50 cal pellets in both .52 and .54 cal rifles, I than contacted knight rifles to see what they're thoughts on this was and was told the same, it would be perfectly safe, but they recommended loose powder for better accuracy.
