Had two very close run ins with them while black bear hunting last week. Had a griz claim his black bear kill then charged him and then the bear ran off after a 338 round zipped over his head.

He sees them every time he goes out. If you plan on hunting griz country anywhere in Montana, Idaho and wyoming where they are, be prepared.

I think they’re willing to sacrifice a few of their own if it means saving their precious bears
