Hey all,
Looks like I am headed to the Missouri Breaks this Sept. While I am comfortable with our planning, I am curious if others have experiences they would want to share about the Breaks. I know about the "gumbo", crowds, river hunting etc. Have people had better luck in the trees, water holes, spot and stalk, ambushing...
Thanks all, looking forward to hearing a few stories!

Good luck, that's an awesome hunt. I don't know that there are many secrets there, if so they are tightly held. Hopefully you can spend a good chunk of time there to have the best trip and odds in your favor.

That's the plan! Thanks!!

Glad you know about the "Gumbo". Don't underestimate it. Nastiest stuff on this planet! :yike:
Good Luck!

It's pretty crazy stuff, my dad's house is built on it. Think of a mix of clay and glue that weighs as much as lead and as slippery as ice when wet.

Hello! We are also headed for 620/621 from Bellingham. Good luck, see you there. We will be the Trad longbow guys.
