Wasnt sure where to place this topic so please move if necessary.
With draw results coming to a close, what do your plans looking like for this fall? I am pretty dang pumped for the 2020 season.
I start off in August chasing speed goats in Montana, elk locally in Sept, Colorado 2nd season deer in October, Montana in November and maybe finish up with a late WA deer hunt.
Feel fortunate for the tags I've got. Would quite honestly be a miracle to fill even 3 of these tags mainly because I suck at hunting but it should be an action packed fall.
-
Congratulations on your tags. It will be a blast.!!!
Me!!! True spike elk hunting September
Hunting mule deer late November in Wenatchee area. Maybe go into the high country in September chasing mulies
Good Luck.!! Lots of Pictures

Still waiting on a few draws but it "should" be:
WA archery elk
WY deer
ID deer
WY elk
Daughters wa deer
CO deer
MT deer
Wife's WA deer
MAYBE WA deer if my baby brother gets back from deployment with enough time to party. Fingers crossed on that and WY deer not slipping through my fingers 😬 I'll probably sneak in on some draw tags with others as well.

There will be a lot of scouting through out the summer, I have basically forsaken any fishing plans I had!
August-

Early archery elk opener eastside (w/cow tag) transitioning into my buddies Ram hunt and back again if needed/possible
October-
Upland/waterfowl

Desert B archery, scouting all month, hitting it hard once my tag season kicks off. In addition to Thanksgiving it is also my birthday on 11/26 right in the middle of this hunt.

Scouting and running trail cams as an excuse to be in woods starts either this weekend or next. Just like to see pictures of critters and have a reason to be out hiking.
August wandering around in the woods pretending I am hunting bears really more scouting elk
Sept wandering around some more this time actually hunting elk/deer.
Oct probably still wandering around looking for a deer ( if I buy multi season tag )
Nov-Dec More wandering for Elk and Deer if no tags filled yet.
Pretty much the plan is wander around hope I get lucky, I should really learn to hunt better

Not looking good this year. Work in alaska all of august, get home early september and see if i cant pull a bear or two out of my ass in a maybe 2 week period, then probably back to alaska until november, at which time ill be hunting a buck i probably wont kill, which will result in me freezing my ass off through dec 15th, missing out on the chance to use my idaho deer tag. Then, after getting screwed on august bear season and rifle elk season, and failing at deer season, ill try to take my anger out on lions and coyotes and wolves. Going to do some bobcat trapping too.

Pretty rough. Sep. 1st, open back door and look right, stick the deer in the garden, then chase birds all season.

 My kind of plan for filling the freezer.

All Washington for hunting. Muzzy elk and rifle deer. Maybe some bear in August but usually lots of fishing then. Birds all fall through January. Lame to not draw anything but have some fun hunting planned.
