One of the first NWTF edition Winchester Model 1300's, 22 or 23 inch barrel, with laminated stock and forearm.  Put a Kick's Gobbling Thunder @ .655 on it to shoot Federal 2 oz. loads of copper plated 6's.  Been good to me........ :chuckle:

Put together the turkey gun a couple of months ago in anticipation for Wednesday. It's a Remington 870 modified. A little heavier than an 870 in standard configuration. Next year I'll replace the 28" barrel with a shorter one.

Remington 870 Supermag camo but use 3" load of 1-5/8 oz #5s that SCORCH over the chrono.  Hit hard on both ends but should bag the bird.

Now just have to get OFF WORK LONG ENOUGH TO TRY IT   :bash: :bash: :bash:
