Looking for a woods back up gun in 10mm that is not a glock, whatcha got??
-
XDM
-
But why not a glock :chuckle:
I love my Glock 20SF
-
XDM
:yeah:
-
I chose the XDm over the G20 & G29. I’ve owned all three plus a Witness.
-
The Ruger SR1911 in 10mm is a fine pistol. I have the 45ACP version and love it. It’s a beautiful gun, but may not be ideal if you are concerned about weight.

If a person thinks a Glock is ugly. The XDM makes the Glock look like a prom queen. One can only hope for a POS M&P 10mm.😂🤣😂🤣

XDM

That's crazy talk. Glock is like the Ford Pinto of guns. Ugly but extremely reliable.

Did you say "ford" and "reliable" in the same sentence???? You can no longer be trusted!!

You left out the Pinto part. I didn't say Ford F350 6.0L.
-
Yep, XDM, mine is 5.25
-
Remember the jc Whitney pinto motor conversion plates for ford /willeys flat heads?! Maybe there was some hidden truth in the pinto comment :dunno:
-
:dunno: I went with a RIA 10mm
-
EAA Witness, subcompact. Affordable CZ clone.

Sig 220

How about a revolver? The S&W 610 is a great gun, so are the Ruger GP-100, Super Redhawk and Super Blackhawks in 10mm. If you're feeling really exotic, I've seen Chiappa Rhinos converted to 10mm Mag.
The up side to the revolvers is that you can load them to a longer OAL and see a significant performance increase over anything you'll get in a semi-auto. You get the added bonus of being able to run any ammo you want without having to worry about swapping out recoil springs.
-
I've been pondering a 10mm for a woods carry also- haven't handled a Dan Wesson Bruin or Kodiak in Bronze 10mm yet but they sure look nice.
-
Ruger GP 100 match champion good back up
-
If you're going to go with a revolver I'd probably scrap the 10mm and go 44mag, 480, or similar.
For something high capacity, the 10mm in G20 or the XDM are probably your two best options.
If you are looking for something with more power than a 10mm but still in a semi auto look into doing a 460 Rowland kit on a G21 or XDM 45. They make 460 Rowland conversion kits for a variety of different guns. You get 44mag horsepower in a semi auto.

Get a grip man! I mean a good feeling grip. XDM is far more comfortable than holding a brick. (The Glocks.) :chuckle:

Fusion longslide is what you seek . These are both sporting RMRs now .
-
RIA in FDE would be my vote.
Damn sexy gun.
My Glock caught me looking at one and got jealous.

Did Mark do those for you are did you buy them that way?

Bob Serva ( Fusion owner and previous owner of Dan Wesson ) himself built them originally. Then when we decided to have them milled for the RMRs we sent them back to Fusion and his kid milled them .
