Ok, so im new to the shed hunting game, and im having a blast just gettin outta the house and walkin the hills and bein in beautiful country, the landowner that ive been hunting on tells me the animals have moved on so now i figured i cant stress them out if they r gone, this isnt too far past the woodshed restaraunt, i figured you guys would know if the elk are back up higher, ive seen them on the side hills off the road, but i dont know if they are still in the surrounding area, so does anybody know???? and what other basic tips would be helpful for a newcomer to shed hunting??? thanks, i appreciate it!!!
Look close to the fences, they lose horns while jumbing.

What ever Mr. I find one from the road every time. :chuckle: :chuckle: I guess a gimmie is ok cause I know how many miles you put on this year. We need pedometers next year. I bet guys would be shocked to know what kind of miles Team Leadslinger puts on for their sheds.

I don't know how many miles I have this year, But I need to call Cabelas and see if they will warranty my boots, they are shot. The Leadslingers have some serious miles this year for sure!
Like its been said before Lots of hiking and lots of glassing, every year I find more and more with the binos.
