Those that hunt Idaho or care about conserving winter range and migration corridors should submit your input on a proposed recreation trail in Idaho that will cut through mule deer and elk winter range.

Just vote on it.
Oh that's right you can't.
Helplessness.
On a serious note....Thanks for letting us know.

If Idaho would just keep most of their winter ranges open for winter recreation like Washington, they could then experience the quality of Washington deer and elk hunting.

It’s happening every where. Twisp / Winthrop Ranger districts are selling out winter range to Mountain bikers. Allowing game trails to be turned into groomed bike trails. Parking areas don’t even require a pass.
And they ride till the snow forces them out. It’s sickening.
Idaho will do the same all for the mighty dollar.

It's crap.
And
Already is everywhere in my zone.
All on BLM.

Totally amazes me that the Wildlife winter range areas above Winthrop are covered by hikers and bikers in the middle of hunting season without one stitch of hunter orange and accompanied by free running dogs, they park in the handicapped hunter access lot
It’s an accident waiting to happen
Frustrating

Lot of tangents, but so we are all clear, the proposed trail in Idaho is not being built.
