Title: Turnbull Archery Bull Tag
Post by: TFA on July 08, 2020, 06:47:07 PM: I drew the Turnbull Archery Bull (Spike Only) Tag. Just received my packet from the refuge and I was assigned the Southwest section. If anybody has any input I would welcome it. I have a friend who drew a Muzzleloader cow tag there awhile ago. Other than that I don’t know anyone who has done the hunt. I live in Spokane, so should be able to do some afternoon hunting on the days I’m not able to take off of work during that time.

Post by: TFA on July 08, 2020, 07:07:48 PM: Thanks JL. I’ll check it out. You don’t get to scout until the day before the hunt so I’ll be trying to read anything I can get my hands on. And flinging lots of arrows at the target all summer of course.

Post by: Jonathan_S on July 09, 2020, 05:10:38 PM: I saw three spikes in about 5 hrs of scouting and hunting there. Definitely a few targets around. The elk are on the green spots. Get close ish to a group and cow call. :tup:
