Title: Fishing/ crawdads lake Wenatchee
Post by: HarboritE on July 12, 2020, 10:10:18 AM
We will be camping at lake Wenatchee august 14-17. I’ve been reading it seems like there could be a sockeye season, however I don’t know if I’ll have a boat available or not. I may take the kids to nearby trout lake for some trout, or may just try our luck at Wenatchee. I don’t have much faith in sockeye from the bank but I may try plunking. I’ve read there were a good amount of crawdads at one time but most info I’ve found is old. I’m taking the 4 pots I have anyways and will be giving it a try. Anyone fish lake Wenatchee in the recent past ?

We just came back from that area last weekend and fished fish lake.  Fish lake is only a few miles away.  We rented a pontoon boat for two hrs and caught one rainbow with the kids.  I would jump over to fish lake.  You can pay the resort a fee to fish off the dock and we saw a lot of people catching trout.
