Heck of a deal on a new savage. Says it’s not in any stores near me. Not available to ship to stores Not sure how you figure out which stores have one
-
Lots of super low prices on guns online at Cabela’s but can’t find a store that ever has it so what’s the point of having an advertised price if they’re not available
-
Yeah. Was hoping someone on here had it figured out how to find them
-
They have Sig P320 X5 for $350 right now... Lacey had some in stock last I checked... If anyone is near there that's a great deal, about $600 off. There are some Seekins rifles and Leupold Scopes also on clearance. The Leupold Scopes weren't advertised online but rang up 50% off in store. Certain VX6 HD and MK5's.

Some of them you can order online and have it shipped to the nearest store. It’s all about timing and what becomes available in Inventory. I imagine things go fast online.
Found this right this second. Pretty good deal at $400 off.

I've tried buying two different rifles this week from them online. Both sales went through and charged to my account. Then it was followed up each time with a cancelation email because they were out of stock. Been a frustrating process!

Sound to me like a bait and switch add. They get you into the store(bait) and then sell you a rifle at a higher price(switch). Ask for a rain check, if they refuse ask for the manager, ask why not. Then say that this sounds like a bait and switch add and that you are going to talk to the state attorney about filing a complaint.
I ran into something like this before, not for a rifle, I got a rain check and I got my item.

I had a rifle sent from the Minnesota gun library to Lacey a month ago and have went to get it twice. Last time I got there at 4:00 and was told the lost was full and I would have to come back. There was 4 people ahead of me and they didn’t think they could process them in the next 4 hours by 8:00. The allow window shoppers to prevent the actual sales of guns. I will Never buy another gun from them. I purchased a rifle at a local shop last week and it took about 15 minutes.

prices ending in .97 are usually close outs. It's to help the stores with inventory clear things out.

Since Bass Pro bought out Cabelas they do a lot of Bait & Switch.
When I wantes a set of boots they would advertise the boots I wanted at 50% off.
I went to three of thier sales right at the begining of thier sale and all they had in stock was size 7, size 12 and size 13. Nothing inbetween.
I really hate Cabelas since Bass Pro bought them out.
They also quit doing lay aways on guns there when they got bought out.
I very seldom spend any money there now just like Dicks.
I completly avoid Dicks since they went totally anti-gun

When they have a gun on special buy it online and have it shipped to the store even if it is showing in stock.
That way you don't have to worry about someone else getting it first.
You also don't have to stand in line at the counter if you buy online.
-
They all say not available online. In (mythical) store only. I’ve been done with cabelas for a while. Just showed up on my gun deals app
-
The Ruger Americans are on special now. They have a 7-08 that is ship to store.
I haven't had any problems buying from Cabelas. In fact I made out like a bandit there once on Black Friday.
-
I don't think they'll order/ship these? :dunno:
I think they are in-store specials................ and they never seem to be in the stores.
If you could order at that price, it would be worth the wait.

I bought my daughter a Savage Axis a few years ago at the Lacey Cabela's for $150. I did buy it online, but it was already in stock at the store. If I remember right you could only get the sale price on guns in stock at the store you were buying from. Because I was considering a 243 for her, but the Lacey store didn't have it. So I ended up getting a 7/08 and I'm glad I did because she drew a youth elk permit her first year hunting. I don't know how things might have changed there now that they're owned by Bass Pro Shops. But the check out process couldn't have been easier when I picked up the gun. I was pretty happy with their customer service.

Yea the savage is a clearance in-store special so you can't order it online. But you can order the Ruger in a few calibers right now .
