Post by: Wolfdog2314 on August 31, 2020, 08:34:47 PM: I made a random trip over there a few years ago, first week of September. Just east of Helmer. Found a nice 6 pt elk shed and got into elk once. Lots of white tails around there. Saw a fair amount of sign not far East right out of Helmer. The area north of Deary and Helmer looked good. I only spent a 3-4 days poking around. That’s all I got.
