Decent ram for the unit. With high accessibility and generous tags, bugs and tribal pressure it’s been awhile since I’ve seen much for size.That’s a 158-160 class ram as bone said above about average for the unit.

You can't cross the dam, but if you have a boat there's access there.
You can also rent boats from Red's in the canyon. I'm not sure how that would work, but might be worth looking into.

My cousin shot a buck towards the top once but we took it down to the damn, took a canoe across just above the dam, loaded him up and rowed back across. Its plenty deep also.

Is the Wenas Recreational Area / BLM land open in the canyon on the east side of the river?
I not sure you would have to call blm.
I know all dnr is closed not sure about blm.

Any word on how the sheep fared in the northern part of the unit? I drove through on Friday and it looked pretty ugly. Son has the youth tag.
I am not sure we looked for sheep around Umtanum ridge but didn’t see them in the normal spots.
