Title: Lost Rangefinder - Fish Lake Sinlahekin
Post by: cbond3318 on August 25, 2020, 11:54:05 AM
Long shot , but anybody happen to scoop a Bushnell rangefinder in Camo holder at Fish lake in the Sinlahekin last week? I’m thinking I drove off with it on my bed rail after hiking out.

Thanks

Good luck. Hopefully somebody picked it up before I got ran over. I found one a few years back up Manashtash? that had been there over the winter. It did not survive the snow mountain was non-functional and completely corroded by the time I found it.  I also found a full quiver of arrows minus one not too far from where I found the rangefinder. Not too sure how that turned out but since he didn’t have his rangefinder and only one arrow I’m going to guess he did not get whatever he was stalking

Edited to Manashtash hoping that is right.  The censor didn't edit what you put down as the location.  Rainier10

Highly probable I ran it over on the way out.  :chuckle:

I feel for you, I pulled a tarp off the camper yesterday to get it delivered for a new roof spray.  I had a small personal cooler under the tarp to allow for some slope to drain off the rain.   Told my self as I pulled the tarp don't forget the cooler...…..

Made it about 100 yards from the house and heard it go and saw it bouncing down the road in the side mirrors  :chuckle:
Wife was following me to the drop and she pulled over and grabbed it.

That’s how it works. I specifically told myself, “don’t forget you set that there”

Immediately forgot I set that there.

Don't feel to bad. Twice I've left my cell phone on the bumper of my truck. One time I drove about 15 miles on a windy road, pulled into my destination and walked around the corner to see my phone sitting on the bumper. How it stayed there I'll never know. The other time, I wasn't so lucky.

cbond.... I can better that!  I drive off last year late season mule deer hunting and left my kennetreks! Didn’t realize I left them there until I made it home and was unloading my truck! Then it hit me.....  :bash:
