Title: Transporting crab traps on hardtop?
Post by: syoungs on September 05, 2020, 09:00:08 PM: I see boats with crab pots on their hardtops from time to time. Seems like it would be nice to get a few of mine up on the roof and off the floor. I use danielsom square collapsible cages, dont like to collapse them if i dont need to.

What kind of rack system do you guys use to accomplish this? Almost seems like a roof basket from a car could be used?

Post by: xX Let ER Rip Xx on September 05, 2020, 09:59:37 PM: I have a 24 foot trophy with a hard top, never carry them up there. I stack them against the walk around rails on both the port and stbd side of the boat. Works great for me!
