Title: Area 419 hellfire brake
Post by: BULLBLASTER on September 14, 2020, 01:21:47 PM
Does anyone have an area 419 hellfire brake on a smallish muzzle diameter barrel? Curious how it fits on a .700 muzzle.

Looks like a nice setup. Looking at the ports it looks as it will reduce recoil well but may rain dirt on you prone.

Theyre side ports. Nothing on the bottom. Im most likely going to get a couple but just curious how they will fit and look on smaller barrels. 419 said im just under their min spec but it would work fine with 5/8x24 threads.

My side port break rains dirt on me.  “Gills” are  angled back towards the shooter.  When close to the ground my terminator and savage straight out break throw dirt on me.   Suppose it could have something to do with how much gas they are pushing too.  :dunno:

I put a lil fatbas**rd gen 3 on .700 weatherby 338-378.   Ugly but really like the tuneable performance.

Prefer plugable top ports like the new fat bast**ds, the christensen slayer, and MBM has some coming out very soon.

I may modify my terminator with a port or two on top.
