Hey all
I don’t think I am sharing anyone’s secret spot here. Hoping someone with some experience in this unit can help me in terms of what to expect with snow, backroad conditions, and nighttime temperatures in unit 22. Doing a solo two week stint over there last week of October/first week of November. I know that’s potentially a volatile, unpredictable time, could be sunny or dumping snow I imagine. Will be hunting in the 6,000-8,000 foot range in the southern end of the Hell’s Canyon Wilderness, northwest of Council towards the Seven Devils range. Anyone with boots on the ground knowledge of that area that time of year? Thanks for your help.

Obviously you know it's on fire right now?
Might be out by November.

I just got home from unit 22. They have closed Council/Curprum rd. Was looking pretty bad. I think their play to have it contained but the 7th is pretty optimistic. I saw hill sides on fire that aren’t quite reflected in the news yet I believe
