Post by: Bango skank on September 18, 2020, 12:29:44 PM: I set the cam up on this primary scrape may 4th, and the deer have been using it the whole time. Hitting the licking branch, peeing, pawing the dirt. The date was wrong though until i checked it august 26th, noticed and fixed it.

That second buck in the pic at the top of page 2 looks crazy big (may just be stick antlers but it looks great) that bull moose smack in front of the cam is spectacular!! Several great bucks, some really cool bear pics too.

Post by: Bango skank on September 18, 2020, 06:10:24 PM: Not sure yet what my plans are for deer season in washington. May just hunt deer in idaho this year. If i can get a nice buck over there in november i could just focus on cats and dogs and trapping after that. Just ran a few miles down the road and did a 40 minute calling session hoping for a cat, and tried yesterday afternoon in ferry county. Cant even call in a yote lately, bad dry spell.

The pictures are deceiving, i dont think anybody can appreciate what a mess those woods are from the pics. Id be incredibly impressed by anybody who could be even remotely sneaky in there. Try my best, i still sound like a schoolbus driving through the woods. But yeah, smart critters dont stand in the middle of clearcuts mid day.

I was really hoping this covid thing was going to be captain trips, but no such luck, its just a big hoax. Still hoping to live out the stand irl someday. With the stipulation that im one of the immune folks of course.

My name here, bango skank, is also taken from some stephen king stuff. The guy is really a *censored*bag, but he wrote some killer books.
