Tiny bit of white showing

I love sitting in a treestand watching those little dudes hunt. Seems to be a surplus of them around here. I was laying on a rocky outcrop several years ago during late arch elk, almost drifting off, and an ermine came loping by a few feet from my face, was pretty cool

My barn cat has been putting a hurting on them, found 3-4 of them dead now, but she won't eat them.

Found a dead one in my barn too.

Ermine are cute lil critters - unless you are a chicken farmer.....
Kinda like an oscar meyer fur bearer

I read the title and I thought you were referring to me trying to shoot offhand.

Blurred and unsteady, lucky I saw the little wonder. As it eats a third of its weight each day, mostly rodents, a few around sure helps the pest scourge.

we had pack rat and ground squirrel problems until one came around. No more problem
