I love sitting in a treestand watching those little dudes hunt.  Seems to be a surplus of them around here.  I was laying on a rocky outcrop several years ago during late arch elk, almost drifting off,  and an ermine came loping by a few feet from my face, was pretty cool

Blurred and unsteady, lucky I saw the little wonder.  As it eats a third of its weight each day, mostly rodents, a few around sure helps the pest scourge.
