I have been as far as Miles City area, so i was wondering about the antelope population further south by Brodus, anyone care to fill me in?
-
Ive shot a couple down that way. I was on private land , not sure what there is for public shooting. I was in the Volberg area between Miles City and Brodus. Plenty of Antelope in the country though.

Ive hunted deer on block managment between Broadus and Powderville and there were goats out there.

Plenty there
Did you draw ?
Or just curious ?

Every year is different with antelope. I hunt in the 600 units now . Yes I did draw. Should be plenty , there not that hard to hunt .

My 16 yr old daughter drew 2 ( 1 has to be 704/705) Antelope tags and we both have antlerless mule deer tags. But Curious as well since I haven’t been there and was thinking of dropping down to check it out while we are over there.

Sounds like a road trip to me :chuckle:
Get your BLM maps and OnX
You should have a blast
It’s a target rich environment
Good luck

90% of 704 is private.

Definitely a good area for speed goats. Take advantage of the bma ground
