Have the harvester 300 i believe it is. Not rated for rapid fire, can handle from 22 to 300 win mag, thread adapters. Love it.I think same as i got. 30 and 300 almost the same same right?
Did you keep yours direct thread? I am likely going to get area 419 adaptor for it

Do your guys have the quick attach/deattach. Would like to be able to carry it in my pack and then attach when needed? Do you still need hearing protection?All mine are direct thread . My 22 bolt rifle / pistols no hearing protection required . AR Pistol I dont " need " hearing protection but I use it . AR rifles are manageable . Hunting rifles if I'm at the range i use it but hunting I dont .

X2 for the Harvester. Rapid fire is not a consideration for hunting and the light weight makes all the difference. I also have a Specwar and never take it afield. Used a shorty .308 and Harvester to take my deer Tuesday evening.

So is rezeroing necessary everytime you install or remove one?No, the POI changed on every gun, but after zeroing with the suppressor on zero has stayed after removing and re attaching. Others may have different results, but all of mine are consistent every time.

Has anyone got a Griffin Armament? They make a 338 suppressor that weights 12.7 ounces and sells for $995. Where the TBAC I was looking at is 16.9 ounces and sells for $1795.I have a Griffin Armament GP-7 .308 can rated to .300 RUM. Works great.

So have you guys seen the "gas filters" on sale on facebook? All you do is drill out the hole on the end and bam, it's a suppressor. I realize they are illegal once you drill the hole, but my question is, if you drill the hole, put a serial number on it and send it in for a federal stamp, would it then be legal? These things are cheap as hell, $64 dollars compared to 1,000+.
Look up FORM 1 silencers. Ive built a few. You can buy that kit, file for a stamp, and in a month or less have a serial number for it and then drill it out, legally.

If you are building one, or a few, for yourself personally, you just need a form 1. Basically the same form as if you bought a commercial suppressor.

Looks like Bull is right. According to one non-federal site that may or may not be right, you have to get permission before you make it. If you go the FFL route, you can make it, then file.

So the POI changed with the suppressor on and you had to re-zero. So now without the suppressor on you are off again correct? Meaning your guns are off without it?
