Yeah my fields full of them! No you can't hunt! I even have the State Patrol monitoring my property from all the road hunters popping shots off... It's irritating
What if I rope them and pull them into the road and dispatch them with my tire? LOL

The state plants them and they don't know how to act being in the wild for the first time so they get close to my buildings because that's what they know for the first year and eat grain along the ditch that blows out of trucks, then lazy "hunters" drive around and shoot them from their pickups. I see more of that than I do people getting out and walking. Just saying, no you can't hunt because I have livestock in my fields laying in the tall grass or in the trees and don't need them peppered with lead. Makes my place basically unhuntable. I'm not a farmer, they're the ones who don't get out. Cory if you can rope them then why would you shoot them! :chuckle: just grab em by the head and spin them round like their at a kids birthday party and they're done!

I only wish farming wasn't as efficient as it now is.
Back before every eyebrow in every field was farmed or sprayed there was some real dandy bird hunting.

I happen to be a champion pheasant roper. I went to the very prestigious NWPRA (Northwest Pheasant Roping Academy) on a full ride right out of high school. I don't like to come off as a braggart but, I'm a pretty big deal in the pheasant roping world. I have also logged some championship bolo ties from competing in the IGRA (International Grasshopper Roping Arena) but that is a whole other story. :tup:

Not to start an argument, but there is more good wild pheasant habitat out there than you can shake a stick at. I agree that the Basin is a cluster - but the rest of classic pheasant area in the state are doing fine.

Got out for my first time since moving to Oregon. Me and my buddy limited on the first drive we did, hunting a small cattail chocked creek that cuts through a stubble field. Dog put up 15-20 roosters in an hour. Seemed like great numbers to me but I’m new to this neck of the woods.

Is that a Griffon? I know a guy who has one named Doofis! He looks the part too! Reminds me of the ole sheriff dog on the cartoons! Lol What a character! There's a guy in Cheney who raised them last I knew. He lives on Lance Hill road.
In my photo that is my buddys dog Pepper, she is a german wirehair. A delight to hunt over and hope I get many more trips with her. I'm picking up a pudelpointer this week. Haven't had a puppy in a while so lots to learn and relearn

The Spokane Hutterites got the BLM grazing lease from November-April??. The Barr ranch was sold a couple years ago and they held the Escure lease before the Hutterites.Thanks the lease makes more sense, it was communicated to me that it was bought , lock stock and Barrell.
I tried to get the lease but came up short to the colony.
