I have been invited to a good piece of property outside of Curlew, and was wondering the best time frame to maximize getting a shot . There are good numbers of deer there , and 3 tree stands already there.Any help on tactics and timing would be very helpfull to me.

time of year or time of day? what information are you looking for?

Whitetail, is all there is here in Oklahoma.
I read some statistics a couple years ago about what time of day whitetail bucks were killed here. The numbers were pretty staggering, over 85% were killed within 15 minutes before or after sun up and within 15 minutes before and after sunset. The rest were scattered randomly through the day. I have seen probably 2 to 1 at around sunset, to first light.
When hunting mule deer in the Methow you can here shots any time of day. Not so much here in Whitetail country.

Best time up there is Nov 15-24

The best days for the late season is what I was looking for ( I have heard post rut December over food plot is better than pre rut)? and what tactics to use (rattling, sent, bait?).

That post rut is spotty and inconsistent. If it’s dry and warm it’s terrible . Really need cold and snow for post rut on food to be good
