I have been invited to a good piece of property outside of Curlew, and was wondering the best time frame to maximize getting a shot . There are good numbers of deer there , and 3 tree stands already there.Any help on tactics and timing would be very helpfull to me.time of year or time of day? what information are you looking for?

I read some statistics a couple years ago about what time of day whitetail bucks were killed here. The numbers were pretty staggering, over 85% were killed within 15 minutes before or after sun up and within 15 minutes before and after sunset. The rest were scattered randomly through the day. I have seen probably 2 to 1 at around sunset, to first light.
When hunting mule deer in the Methow you can here shots any time of day. Not so much here in Whitetail country.
