Reminded me of the cartoon where the mouse is flipping off the bird of prey as the last act of defiance. Maybe there was a mouse on the road. The owl ended up stuck in my grille.

Coming across the old Moclips Hwy a very nice Blue grouse decided to commit suicide. He jumped up off the road straight into my driver side mirror ! He had a couple broken legs and a severe concussion but is now sleeping comfortably in the freezer ! Guess hunting faster was the right call !
