Title: Smaller bucks rutting
Post by: Shooter4 on November 08, 2020, 08:31:03 AM: I heard this morning the smaller bucks seem to be starting to rut anyone else seen it? If so I’m thinking the last week will be pretty good

Last night again, 3 young bucks 15+ does, 0 interaction.

Post by: elkboy on November 08, 2020, 11:58:50 AM: I grunted a 4x4 whitetail in to 6 yards last night (Idaho). I couldn't resist the excellent shot opportunity, and concluded my season a bit early. At any rate, some of the bucks are responsive to calling!

Post by: jakeweb on November 08, 2020, 03:11:08 PM: I’ve seen a few bucks chasing does. A 2 point this morning on em hard and and my parents place is next to a hay field and has a nice 4x4 and wide 3x3 chasing does for the past week. All mule deer in central cascades

Post by: Rainier10 on November 09, 2020, 09:20:15 AM: That's what I saw this weekend. Small bucks were aggressive. Bigger bucks didn't seem to care at this point but I feel like it is getting close.
