Title: Regs in stores yet?

The gal who sells hunting license, tags, etc., told me they had received an e-mail from WDFG, telling them the regs would be available by the middle of April, but they had not received them yet. Then as I was leaving the store, she stopped me to tell me they had just received another e-mail from WDFG (she showed me the e-mail).......this e-mail was informing her that some of the regs had been distributed, but were being 'recalled' because there were some errors in the regs that had to be corrected, after those corrections were made, the regs would be sent out again, probably around the 20th. If you have a copy of the '09 regs - and if you look on page 10 - if the word "draft" appears near the bottom of that page....that is a copy of the regs that are being recalled. Hope this information will be of some help.

Post by: BnB on April 17, 2009, 10:53:56 AM: Scheurmans had a box of the recalled one's there and I looked at them. They still had the late 101 hunt for modern in them. Said the new one's would be in that afternoon. Stopped by at 4:30 and they had revised one's out.

Now I don't understand how they are "in house" but sent to a printer? Maybe the pdf compilation/master was done in house and the printing outsourced?

I sure hate it when they give the people who don't pay attention more time to put in their permits. Even though they dropped the ball on the regs, I hope they leave the deadline as is!

The "draft" version of the letter from the Directors and Commissioners got sent to the printers, instead of the final version. That is the reason the regs were recalled.

Post by: bearhunter59 on April 22, 2009, 03:06:01 PM: The regs are compiled in-house, and next year will actually printed by the state printing office, but this year, the same as years past, were sent to and printed by the Seattle P-I, (for the last time). Can't wait till the state starts doing the printing of the regs themself....guess how late we'll see them then? :dunno:

I picked up 2 copies at WDFW on monday...big5 and dennis company still didn't have them yet.
