Title: Meopta 12x 50 vs Swaro SLC 10x40
Post by: Magnum_Willys on November 11, 2020, 01:23:58 PM: I know its apples to oranges but after a week in Utah you could’nt pay me to go back to the swaro’s. I borrowed son’s Meopta’s and difference was amazing.

The Swaro 12x50 at twice the cost of Meopta’s are likely as good but the extra weight of the Meopta’s are worth it vs the SLC’s IMO.

I can say with equal magnification the swaros are superior in both cases, the EL's are the best of the three. I think the magnification difference between the two you are comparing may be giving you a false sense of superiority. With that said everyone sees things differently. The Meopta's are certainly easier on the wallet.
