Seriously what kind of undies do you guys use for extended backpacking trips. I have tried multiple kinds and each time they get shredded and have gaping holes where my legs rub when hiking.
Firstlite = 2 days to toast

Meundies.com
Seriously magical and they last. You can also get matching pairs for your significant other.
-
I just wear the Under Armour boxer briefs (spandex type). Never had any issues.
-
Buck Naked, From Duluth.
I like the ones with the beavers on them. :chuckle:
-
An unfurnished basement is more comfortable.
-
32 Degrees boxer briefs from Costco are solid. I wear em for work and hunting. I've started packing a baby bottle of baby powder in my pack too for re-application, that does wonders too!
-
Shinesty ball hammock :yike:
https://www.shinesty.com/
Very comfy and no parts sticking to other parts
Very comfy
-
Woolly clothing company boxer briefs are my go to.
-
I like the longest length under armour boxer briefs.
-
:yeah:
Keeps the cheese from cooking
Ha :chuckle:
-
Check out saxx. They have a pouch to keep things separate and avoid any chaffing. Get the wool version and they are the best active hunter underwear on the market

Buffalo Briefs.
Sheared.

Maybe check your size
I have have Under Armor, jockey, Champion, Haynes, etc
All have lasted a year, at least,
Fat thighs, size up, or walk bow legged.
Or go to the big and tall shop
They also make pants with extra lining in that area, for horse riding etc
When I go walk about,
under armor cool gear and/ or hot gear depending on the climate
And my thighs don’t rub when I walk, or run....

After several trips where I could barely walk due to chaffing on the inner thighs, I moved to these and have literally NEVER had a repeat.

Been using them for about 15 years and the first pair has finally lost the waistband elasticity that will sadly mean we must part ways soon.

I read a review about these several years ago and looked into them. I thought they were ridiculously expensive, but tried a pair. They are great! I agree, they last forever. If you watch Amazon, they go on sale. I get them in a 3 or 4 pack when they go on sale.

Been wearing bamboo for probably 5 years now.
-
Commando. No worries mate.
:yeah: It's what nature intended, and it works.

Pretty sure meundies are made of modal fabric aka bamboo. The boxer briefs don’t ride up and are seriously amazing.
-
If I had a dollar for every pair that made their way into the campfire at the end of a trip I'd never have to buy another pair. Just make sure you are done with the smores before doing your "laundry"

There is a song
Free Balling.!!
Oh sorry wrong song free falling? I think

Woolly clothing company boxer briefs are my go to.
These are what I wear too. I have worn smartwool, icebreaker, and now woolly and the woolly boxer briefs are the most comfortable and durable wool underwear I've tried. End of a 5 day hunt in one pair and they are intact and don't stink.
-
Good grief you guys can complicate the simplest of things.
Normal briefs...tighty whities, whatever you want to call em is how I roll.
Whats this boxer nonsense? This isn't 1935! Id rather rock a homemade loincloth then wearing swim trunks eeeerrrrrrrrr, I mean boxers under my hunting slacks
-
Bad juju
-
I only spot n stalk in bikini briefs. Superior comfort when afield.
Jim Palmer was the coolest baseball player ever.
-
I think there's a guy on here that can hook you up with moleskin thongs.
-
:chuckle:
-
on a series note hanes boxers. never tried the Deluth ones but their commercials are funny as heck.
-
Good wool undies, boxers or briefs, make an enormous difference in warmth, comfort, and scent control especially on long hunts.
-
For hunting I go comfy but cheap because if things get ugly there is a good chance they wont make it back to camp.
-
UA briefs, been using these and similar ones since 03. Got turned on to these when we invaded Iraq. Before then, I had to use Vaseline on my balls before a ruck march, then afterwards i’d need gold bond powder. Since the UA briefs, I’d rarely itch or have problems. They’ve served me well over the years.
-
Bought 2 pairs of extra long boxer briefs from Duluth this year and so far I have liked them a lot

Any boxer briefs I have bought ride up. The legs work there way up past the fat part of my thigh to sack level, at which point the leg part is scrunched up like a braided rope around my uppermost thigh, and uncomfortable of course.
I bought some fancy expensive breathable, athletic underwear at I think the Hanes outlet in North bend once. It had a breathable mesh lining that started just under the sack and went up and over the crack to the back waste band. TERRIBLE! The mesh acted like a rough sandpaper between the sack and hole region. Chewed me up something terrible. >:(
-
Exofficio give & go are the only thing to touch my balls other my wife, me and my Dr.
You won't be sorry.
I've gone 14 days on 2 pairs.
-

:yeah:
Hanes and And 1 performance long boxer/briefs work great for me. Last ones I bought were like 6 for $20ish
-

:yeah:
That's a fact Jack;
I'm still a Duluth fan, and yes the commercial's are great.

That would be the "Taint" :chuckle: :chuckle:
Taint quite the sack.....taint quite the b hole. ;)

If you chafe that bad, go commando.
I wear merino hunting for the big reason merino rules over synthetics on day 2 and beyond.
-
Duluth had a black Friday sale I saw this morning. I picked up a 3 pack of their boxers for $31 with free shipping. Ill give them a try and if not, you guys gave me a lot of great options.
-
I would just like to find something that keeps big jim and the twins packed tight. Everything I try ends up around my knees after a good hike and then its like not having underwear on until you unbuckle and pull everything up again.
-
Wish I had that problem. Everything is high and tight no matter what I'm wearing.
