The Hornady reloading manual (sixth edition) I have does not have a recommended load for the 55 grain V MAX for the AR wondering if any AR owner/reloader has worked up a recipe for the 55 grain V MAX?
Thanks in Advance

Check the Western Powder Manual for some Vmax loads.

One of my loads is with the 50 gr Vmax with 26 gr of Varget.

From the 10th ed.
My 18" Wilson Combat Stainless Match barrel in 1:8 twist likes VMax's loaded to the max 26.4 Gr of Varget, I'd have to look at my notebook to tell you what kind of a jump they're making to the lands though. I also use CCI Small Rifle primers.....
