That’s a cool looking buck!
-
I'll bet from the side view that buck will about give you a heart attack!
-
Holy cow that's tall. Height of the rut is right. I've ever seen one that tall. Thanks for sharing
-
I've seen some like that down in SE WA. Cool looking genetics

Bone, last year you mentioned a possible B&C 3 point that you'd photographed. I don't recall seeing an image of it. Did that ever pan out?
-
Too Tall Jones!
-
Height is a vastly underrated quality in a mule deer. He would give those big ole wide suckers a headache in a fight!

Lol you got that right. Reach is important in a fight.

I was just thinking about any advantage in fighting. Would a big wide rack be better or something like this brute has? I tend to think that if there is adequate power in the legs I would want that tall rack because it would get inside and perhaps have a better chance at doing some face damage. On the other hand, swinging around a wide rack would probably have its advantages as well.

You didn’t see it last year, or did what pan out? I didn’t find him again this year.

My god, that neck has antlers.

I must have missed it last year. I just remember the original post. To bad you couldn't track him down again.

What a healthy looking animal. Looks to be in the prime years of its life. Standing tall, proud and alert.
Gonna start my late season Monday, pics like that are getting me pumped up

Awesome. Thanks Bone. What an animal.
