Title: Anyone else headed out for late archery?
Post by: Tbob on November 26, 2020, 03:27:07 PM
Headed out to the coast with my brother for 3 solid days of late archery elk/deer. Super stoked and hoping to get lucky enough to fill the freezer! Anyone else headed out this weekend?

will be lurking around in the willapa hills for the next week or so. Sure not what it used to be. Less animals, less access, more people. Good luck to everyone. (gonna need it)

I will be in willapa hills as well this weekend. Good luck to everyone and let's all pray the fog keeps to a minimum as it was rather bothersome this morning.

Was out In The Wynoochee this morning. Fog was all over. Hiked 4 miles and drove some but didn’t see a thing. Not even a deer. Frustrating. Don’t have the wearhouser tag to drive or walk in.

Just spent a few days in Clearwater. Only got on two herds of cows. and saw minimal sign where they would be coming put of the park. Didnt expect to be successful as it was my first (and probably last) time hunting out that way. Weather was actually really nice but just wasn't the way I like to hunt.

Put in a lot of miles and saw very little sign in areas that have always held elk in the past. Found some areas that are newly signed and gated that were open in the early season. Lots of people.

What's up with the Blue tags with white numbers hanging from every ones rear view mirrors? Is there some permit that I'm unaware of? These were in trucks parked on state land or feel free to access Hancock Timber gates
