Title: 49 North Late Bull Moose
Post by: NIGHTFORCE on November 27, 2020, 03:20:55 PM: 15 total days of hunting; saw a small bull around 30 inches on day 5 but passed. The next several days we only saw cows and a few cows with calves. On day 15 we saw 6 moose and with about 2hrs of daylight left we spotted a bull with the fog drifting in and out. I decided that he was a shooter and got set up with a good rest; put 2 in him with my 338 ultra mag he went about 10 yds and bedded down then tipped over. It was a fun hunt that took me 21 yrs to draw. Bull was 45.5 wide with some character around his bases. I hope the pics post as this is my first attempt.

Yes, that's the top of Blacktail Mountain Rd in the background. I had 3 different bulls on trailcam up there.
